Are you just trying to increase your number of posts? What sort of question is that? Go and play with a variety of players, read around if you wish and come up with your own answer. Everyone has their preference - some swear by the 800's and I know someone who only uses the CMX 3000!!!
Go out and explore. If u can't find one, go to any reputable nightclub in the world. U should find a Pioneer.

The 1000 is king for many reasons - first and foremost is reliability.

Another few cool features which set it (and Pioneer) apart:

- The jog marker is ALWAYS in the same place for your audio sample, whether you play on a CDJ1000MK1, MK2, MK3, CDJ800MK1, MK2, DVJ-X1 or DVJ-1000.

- The ability to store and easily transport cuepoints on SD cards.

- Waveform display - my personal fave.

yeah but, do you really need 1000's if thats all they have over the 800's.

Jog marker- Does that matter where the position is on the display?

SD card - no good for me as i have mk3's and the club i dj at has mk2's

Waveform- Never used it, never found a need to (poss just because of the genre of music i dj)

So if the above dont matter to you go for the 800's.
Or test out other brands first to compare.
I used to have a brand beginning with D.

That is a silly question! Do you think the world's best clubs are fitted out with Pioneer because its useless?

Ant...I have "D" but my last topic was blocked.I could not explain what i mean.So maybe my player has small issues that is why I'm thinking to buy cdj1000 mk3.
Rivals do some good players so its difficult to choose.I know that most clubs have pioneer players but...
If you have cdj1000, would you like to sell them because pio will bring new version or you think there will be no better player for next few years.
I want spend my money carefully and see if clubs constantly keep[ and buy cdj1000.That is all.

My advice is to first learn how to write complete thoughts/ questions. I’m having a really tough time understanding what you are asking.

I didn’t see your previous post, but if it was as obnoxious as this one, then it deserved to be block from the forum.

???
The guy is simply asking the users of pioneers to convince him to move away from the brand he has! Whats the problem with that?!

I have played on just about all of the Pio players and can say with certainty that I would buy the 1000's above the 800's.

While my reasons are similar to Pulse's, there are a few other things:

The 1000 has a much larger "cache" - that is, it stores a larger amount of the song into it's "scratch memory" than the 800 does. This helps when doing backspins.

As well, the hotcues make it for me. I could care less about the beat cutter, I'm a hotcue guy.

And last, but most definitely not least: my biggest draw is simplicity. I don't need a million features; give me a player that plays CD's with a few easy-to-use features. I don't want to have to use the same set of buttons or knobs that CHANGE TRACKS or START AND STOP THEM to enable an effect; when I'm half hammered at 1:30am in the club, I'm going to screw it up, guaranteed. With Pioneer, this is damn near impossible. I don't need to be fighting with my gear.

If I bought MK3's now, would I buy MK4's (or whatever they have next)? Probably not, unless it so drastically improves what the MK3 does that the MK3 seems like 1800's tech by comparison.

My $0.02.

Maybe im missing something.

If you want a non bias response, go to another forum. My guess is that 99% of the people on this forum are using pioneer products so you will get a one sided response from everyone. which will most likely be BUY PIONEER (me included)

Im not sure you are really serious about making a change. ....I could be wrong, but i bet that most of us on this forum obsessed over equipment before making a purchase.

I can remember my endless visits to guitarcenter and touching and playing with every "cdj" and talking to random djs to figure out what was the best for me.

So i question your curiousity based on your behaivior and line of questioning since i personally8 would not buy an expensive toy based on what a very bias forums said.....

now go out there and experiment and put in the ime to reseach like the rest of us. THEN come back and ask everyone on this forum how to use it.

...is anyone else with me on this??

The person is asking:

"What makes the cdj1000 the best ones"

Please answer to the specific question.

I like them because:

- Look, the units are just beautiful, I love to see systems with three units in a row
- Feeling, I love the feeling of playing with it
- Quality. So far I haven't had any issues with them, and I can see the quality of the components (Display, buttons, etc)
- I like the layout and the size, I have tried smaller units and prefer this one.
- And I like the vinyl function on them.

This is the kind of answers you need to post, but others are just posting no polite answers and being aggressive.

On the language side, consider this is an international forum and even if you see the location of an English speaking country the person could be born in a non-English speaking country, like my case itself.

If you have nothing good to comment, just don't do it.

Everybody deserve respect and have the liberty of asking questions.

There are some things that are obvious for some persons that could be not that obvious for the others.
