HDJ-1000 Offer Futuristic Look With Lightweight Design and Exceptional Sound Quality

LONG BEACH (July 30, 2002) – Continuing its legacy of developing industry-leading Pro Audio products, Pioneer Electronics (USA) Inc. today introduced the HDJ-1000, professional headphones with a futuristic look, lightweight design and exceptional sound quality. Designed primarily for professional DJs, studio musicians and sound engineers, the HDJ-1000 headphones will also appeal to serious music lovers.

The HDJ-1000 headphones offer 3,500 mW of maximum input making distortion practically obsolete. The 50-millimeter dome fully encompasses the ear, giving users the best possible clarity.

The HDJ-1000 weigh in at less than one pound, which combined with plush padding, makes it possible for music professionals to wear the headphones for hours of listening pleasure. The ear pad is made of a thin, closed-type material to minimize the potential for rips and tears. The compact folding design and swivel mechanism allow the user to manipulate the HDJ-1000 for maximum comfort. Special screws hold the cord in place, making it simple to replace a damaged cord should the need arise.
