Hi guys. Not been on here for while and thought i would ask if there was any update on native support for the mep7000. I did go looking but couldnt find anything on the subject.
Im hoping that by this time there is going to be native as the DJS lets the PC function down quite a bit as it doesnt compare to other software out there.
I no DJS is just a basic design before i may get shot down.

Any info on native would be great

You can set it up for MIDI with many software titles and it works quite well. The benefit to native mode is not requiring any MIDI setup, better resolution of control than MIDI and my personal fave, the time and track information are displayed in the player!

Unfortunately only DJS is currently supported for native mode. As I understand it, Serato is working on their interfacing for the MEP, as are others. The CDJ400 was sold as having native mode support for Serato about 9 months before they finally worked all the bugs out. I had been using it in beta mode testing it out but as they're not Pioneer, it's expected that they will take their time to work on it and release it on their own schedule.
