I have been calling retailers and searching the internet trying find out if this new unit will work with Virtual DJ. Non of the retailers can answer that question and I don't find verification on the internet.

I contacted Pioneer last month and a customer service rep emailed stating that it was not released yet so they didn't have that information.

Does any one have any confirmation that this controller will be able to control Virtual DJ?

Yes it can - the SEP-C1 can control any MIDI compatible software.

Oh, Beautiful! I am sure that Pioneer's software is good too. So, I'll try it. But it's good to know that I can ue it with a program that I am already familiar with.

Any idea of what it will be released? I called a retailer again today and they said that they weren't sure when it would be released.

I was told mid-July is the release date - I hope it doesn't change!

hi guys, the first release has hit the shops. i think 10 in total in the UK and i was lucky enough to get my hands on 1. this unit really is the best i have seen and used. was delivered first thing yesterday morning and i was on it the whole day. is so easy to use. had a few issues with some of the tracks on my ipod coming up error E3084 (format not supported) which surprised me big time as the ipod played the files fine.
i would love to shout from the top of a high building about the MEP 7000 as it rocks and will defo change the way we DJ yet again.
