Burned several DVD-R and DVD+R discs all with good quality CBR MP3s and i've also obviously read the manual and tried numerous different settings and even a few different authoring softwares. MEP 7000 refuses to read any of the DVD discs, i wonder if the problem is perhaps that i need to use a particular disc from a specific manufacturer, can anyone here help?

Haven't heard of any issues. I used Max or Sony I think and they were read fine.
What SW programs to burn with are you using? Pioneer National Trainer & Product Specialist |

CD-DA, Nero & CD Burner.
Will buy and try Max DVD-Rs next. I already use Max CDRs and they are ok. Thanks for your reply. |

It's obvious, but you checked to make sure the discs are closed right.

Yeah, that would be my first suggestion - ensure that you've finalized them.
