Has anyone seen this. For whatever reason, a couple of mp3's tonight on the USB stick would cue up and then after hitting play the cue button would de-illuminate, pressing cue yielded nothing, and i had to track forward and then back and let it cue up again, only to repeat same action.
if no one has seen this, i'll make a video. |

my song was a vbr of biz markie - just a friend.
perhaps the L.O.R. sensor caused the problem. (lack of rhyme) |

Ok, I have made a video so you can see what the problem is: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eQkrN1FiXN4
In this video I play a 320kbit CBR mp3 tune from a Sandisk 1GB memory. But this problem can come when I play from CD or play a VBR also. I have 2 players and it can happen on both. I have firware 1.20 on my players. This message has been edited. Last edited by: DJ Bluecore, |

I think the problem is the Numark mixer beside it is scaring the player.
One thing you didn't show was what happens when you had set the manual cuepoint, or other tracks. What about if you have a loop made? What about a cuepoint called from a stored memory point? Can you make another? Thanks. Pioneer National Trainer // Product Specialist |

Wait a damn minute!
I go away on hiatus, and come back to find that this swede has actually made a video demonstrating this problem we noticed... and all pulse has to say is- 1. must be the numark mixer (he he he....) 2. well you took the time to prove WITHOUT A DOUBT that the player is screwing up (did I mention undeniable, pants down, issue!) , but I want more. Why didn't you try this and that, and that and this, and thus and such.... and the other. Can you go ahead and make another video. HEY you fruitcake! Any issue under "normal" circumstances not only requires you treating it as such, but logically - such issues would increase if additional constraints and/or demands were put on the same set system/process. (since you like analogies so much) If a driver has a problem navigating a given roadway, logically you can expect to have the same, or additional problems navigating that roadway if say... he is chased by the police, large boulders are dropped into the roadway, or perhaps he is forced (extreme example here, i know) to listen to a pulse mix. Let's address the issue please. Did you miss me whilst I was away? |

A mechanical engineer, an electrical engineer and a software engineer are driving down a hill in a car when the engine dies.
The mechanical engineer says "It must be the transmission!" The electrical engineer says "Never! It must be the alternator." The software engineer says "Let's push it back up to the top of the hill and see if it does it again." And, Mr. Fruitcake, that video proves nothing. I've seen videos of people diving under a bus but that doesn't mean I believe what I see. I'm asking for more detail and information on the situation yet you ridicule that? In case you didn't notice, I'm trying to address the issue! Pioneer National Trainer // Product Specialist |

You know I think you must be right. I looked at DJBluecore's other videos and wouldn't you know, half of them were Denon Promotions and the other half were some kind of amateur magic/slight of hand routines. Hmmmmm. Why didn't I put 2 and 2 together. My engineer story is a little different. There glass on the bar, clearly marked, "CDJ 400" filled half way with water. The disgruntled customer says, "that glass is half empty!" DJ Jay smiles and says, "come on now... take a second look.... that's a half full glass!" The 3 engineers all shake their heads and say, " No, that glass was built twice as big as it needs to be." And Pulse sneaks up from behind, slaps the customer on the back of his head, crosses out the "cdj 400" with a big magic marker, and says, "you're an idiot, and you're looking at the wrong glass." |

Nae, I'd sneak up, drink the contents, smash the glass on the floor and run away giggling.

Well OK - I forgot Ryan's part in my little story.
Ryan, hanging about in Pulse's shadow, immediately chimes in with, "he he he, yeah... wrong glass. wrong glass. |

Well thanks R. 99% of the time I am in humor around here. Life's too short.
Pulse just doesn't feel the love. |

I prefer feeling the love from my friends and family - you know, the people who ridicule me because they love me, not because they're trying to be an online Jerry Seinfeld.

Wow, that's some of the funniest stuff you've come up with dude. But let's be real now, post for post, you are way beyond me at TRYING to be funny.
And FYI, I think family and friends are pretty much a sacred, undiscussed topic to everyone here. "Feeling the love" is just an expression. |

You lost me there - I think it's because you tried to say something serious.
