I have had my cdjs for nearly 6 months and play with them alot,

im only sharing experiences here.

im not a flash dj looping and sampling im just a music player,

Now im not sure whats going on here but i have read all the bumf and seen that they dont like over 100 tunes in a folder blah blah.

i like to dump 500 mb of music in different folders,
house / garage / oldskool / 80s / electro and play from the lot, it gives me a good variety.

now im always pissing around sorting different music out and i have found it can be a real pain in the ass,

i have 6 x 8Gb kingston identical sticks with identical music and one loads in no time and the other takes bloody ages.

they all perform differently. it only seems to apply sometimes and sometimes not,

now im sort of convinced that the performance of the sticks or the decks have slowed down since i purchased my stuff (kind of weird but kind of true)

anyway in my opinion it just takes a little time to get to know what yer doing with a little trial and error,

as i now have 11 folders loaded totaling 6.5 gb onto an 8 gb stick of varying genres all upto 1gb a piece and they take appx 5 mins to load but they do work,

conclusion it could be a little better with the loading times and decent advice could be given from the manufacturers by means of forums etc

they are a sound piece of kit as as i am a home dj they suit me perfect.

it would be good to see the trial released for the djs with 400 support but hey all comes to those that wait (forever)

Ps here is my nerdbase Smiler
