Hello,
Just wondering if anyone out there can suggest or recommend a USB DJ Mixer Controller that is compatible with the Pioneer DJS software? I'm looking for something pretty simple that will function in a similar way to the M-Audio X Session Pro...? Any suggestions welcome! Cheers! |

Sorry, the only unit which currently controls DJS is the discontinued DMP-555.

OK - just another quick question.
I am thinking of connecting an external mixer up to the DJS software and have been looking at the Numark DMX01 USB. Presumably I need three soundcards to do this or will the ESI MAYA 44 USB be sufficient for each channel (+ headphones/cueing)? Any tips or recomendations regarding connecting an external mixer gratefully received. Thanks in advance. |

Someone recently said they weren't able to get the multiple outputs from the Maya44USB configured properly within DJS, can anyone confirm this?

If somebody wants to buy USB sound card I strongly reccomend ESI U46DJ wit 1.018 drivers( http://www.esi-audio.com/products/u46dj/ )
Also MK2 version is available (by mixvibes - http://www.mixvibes.com/new/pageeng/page.php?x=mvu46mk2) I use this soundcard with DJS from last year. I don't have any problems. Everything works quick and perfect with ASIO drivers in external option. Check screen: http://www.plk.vectranet.pl/~zaq/screen.jpg ESI U46DJ - GREAT!!!! |

I forgot to add that if you want to use asio properly with esi u46dj and pioneer djs you have to set buffer size on 3 in esi u46dj control panel.
It's very important!!!!! If you don't do it, asio won't work good! regards |

Actually, it depends more on the computer itself, not just the soundcard.
