hello- i'm writing because it appears that the right rca output on my dmp-555 is dead. has anyone tried replacing these? i've done quite a bit of work on my 1200's, but never had to work on a cd player... i'm torn between forking up the cash for a service manual or taking it to a service technician
any suggetsions would be greatly appreciated! |

Have you tried swapping cables to make sure it's not the cable itself? (Or even the mixer?)
Unfortunately nobody here is qualified to give you the technical advice that you're looking for to repair the DMP, your best bet (since the unit is most likely out of warranty) would be to find a local audio repair shop (if the problem is indeed the RCA connector) and have them do it.
