can anyone help me please ? ive just downloaded djs version 1.601 trial from pioneer which works fine but im really struggling to set up the audio master and headphone out. ive got a creative audigy s zs souncard with front and rear outputs however when i go into djs preferences, internal mixer and try to split the channels it wont allow it. it lists all the channels under souncard one and two but will only let me select EITHER soundcard one or two - so you cant monitor the mix ??? please help as this is doing my head in

I'm not familiar with that card but I'd suspect that it doesn't have ASIO drivers allowing for the use of multiple channels (as in stereo pairs) within applications. If it shows you DirectX versions, it likely only supports that driver type and thus can't handle multiple audio streams.

thats odd thoug as it works fine using both channels in traktor 3 and pc dj ? do you think i might need to update the drivers then ?

I just looked at the specs and apparently you should be able to use the multiple outputs with the ASIO drivers. Be sure that you do have the latest version installed and try it again.

get yourself a m-audio fasttrack pro. works like a charm!

Any pro-grade external soundcard (USB or FireWire) with ASIO support should do the trick... except that Numark DJIO thing.
