I followed all the install instructions for the DJS software drivers 100% accurately

But I get the message below when up to Step 5 (5)

No SD Memory Card Adaptors are connected
Connected a SD Memory Card Adaptors and click the [retry] button.

Any idea what is causing this?

Yes I did, then at the testing stage of the txt doc that came with them that error came up.
The usb part of the drivers work (ie I can control both players in the software)

After rebooting both the computer and DMP (dmp turned back on before booting computer)

On the transfer screen as soon as I tick any song I get the error message:

No SD card is loaded
Load an SD Card

and if I try to format any card it just hangs with the format screen showing:

Standby

Yes there is an SDCard inserted and the lock switch of the card in the unlock postition.
Any ideas???

I know that some USB chipsets have trouble with the players but normally they don't even get that far.

Does the DMP show up in the device manager (Control Panel > System > Hardware > Device Manager) as a Human Interface Device?

Yes I can see:

Cypress USB-HID -> COM Device (COM4)

As stated the usb part in djplay works just not the sd card part?

Does it show any other devices when you're not in DJS / DJ Booth? (SD devices)?

i have a DMP-55, it came with an orginal copy of the dj booth software. i have installed the software and updated it as well as installing the new firmware. both of which were on the support site i was taken to from the actual dj booth software itself.
now what happens is this.....every time i stick my 256 meg sd card in, it writes the track but when i go to play back it says "decode error"
what does this mean and what should i do about it?
thanx alot
dave

also what is this DJS i am hearing about here, is this different software than dj booth? and if so, should i change?
