There are NO DJs "sponsored" by Pioneer, not even James Zabiela is considered as such.
And no, neither Jay nor I are "sponsored" either. Pioneer National Trainer // Product Specialist |

I watched that rubbish to hear:
"...gets his Pioneer stuff for free." I love it when someone talks about something they don't know about. Pioneer does provide some artists with promotional or loaner gear but they do not sponsor. Pioneer National Trainer // Product Specialist |

They don't donate the equipment -- to make a gift of; especially : to contribute to a public or charitable cause.
Pioneer loans the equipment -- something lent usually for the borrower's temporary use. It's for promotional purposes -- the act of furthering the growth or development of something; especially : the furtherance of the acceptance and sale of merchandise through advertising, publicity, or discounting. Pioneer is in the business of selling equipment. When big name DJs use Pioneer equipment and other DJs see them using it, they'll want to use it too. Nobody's forcing the big-name DJs to use Pioneer, whether or not it was provided at a cost to them. It's completely their choice ... and they choose Pioneer. I'm sure EVERY DJ in the world would love to have Pioneer lend them equipment but then Pioneer wouldn't be selling anything would they? Pioneer National Trainer // Product Specialist |

I think DJ's choose to use pioneer gear because IT IS the best around and if people see djm's & cdj's in clubs etc. they will want to buy it..

If loaner gear constitutes sponsorship (which it does not), then Pulse and I would like to announce that we are now sponsored DJs!!!!!!
I am sponsored by Pioneers new CDJ-700 and Pulse by the CDJ-1000MK1!!!!!!!!!!!! Pioneer National Trainer & Product Specialist |

Hey I'm Kinda a new dj, ive been doing it for about 3-4 years and currently in school. Ran across the idea of trying to get sponsored for DJing. I would greatly honored, to be sponsored by pioneer. I have been rocking a midi for a long time, just to learn but, now im starting djing in bigger settings and would like to have better stuff. How Can it be done.
Thanks DJ Bigdad :::Listen to my tracks @::: ReverbNation - DJ Bigdad DJ Bigdad Official Website |

I think what he is trying to say is he has been using a MIDI device such as the Herculus Control panel or the Torq Xponent and is now thinking of migrating to Pioneer gear. He learned how to beat match etc using his MIDI system and now wants to "rock" on some proper gear. Am I right DJbigbad?
