I know it's my first post, but maybe someone can help!
I have a djm-500, not sure when it was made exactly; So my channels 1/2 are running my tech 12's through serato. They work fantastic. My channels 3/4 were unused until I bought a cdj800 earlier tonight. I've plugged it in to channels 3/4 with no success. It will play through the headphones, but nothing from my booth monitor or master outs. I swapped it over to channel 1 & 2 to ensure proper function, and it works fine on those channels. In reverse I've also swapped the turntables to channel 3/4 and I'm getting nothing from them. What do I need to look at, and is this a fixable issue? Seems like the channels 3/4 are dead? On a related note as well, my XLR out, my 1/4" out only work on the right channel, and I'm playing my Mackies wired parallel without a L/R master control! Lefts are dead too! I'm not very experienced with pioneer mixers, so I don't want to dive in and start playing with the guts until I have an idea what to look for, whether this is fixable, or whether I need to whip out the visa for a new mixer. Someone may be able to help? Thanks, Brock. |
