Ive got a CDJ-1000 MK3 with a strange jog wheel issue which I'm really hoping someone could possible shed some light on.
When in "vinyl" mode I have no scratch control on the platter, when I apply pressure to the platter the cd stops as if I'm pressing the play/pause button & the ring around the vinyl lcd lights up to show its recognised being touched but when I move the platter backwards & forwards with the pressure applied nothing happens, sometimes it goes into a bit of a spasm & starts fast forward or winding! Also in "CDJ" mode trying to slow the cd down nothing happens.
Ive tried to kind of self diagnose with the help of this & other forums which led me the change the part DWG-1603 but still doing exactly the same thing.
Please if anyone could help It would be greatly appreciated
Yep, sounds like the pressure switch - but unfortunately nobody here is authorized to provide any information or instructions on disassembly of your CDJ. The technical support teams will be able to provide some information and parts.

I have the same problem with a cdj400. I will post an answer when i get it back from the repairman :)
Nice one mate, would be good to find out from a professional myself lol.
I've ordered a pressure switch, rollers & bearing to see if that sorts my issue fingers crossed
