I just updated the firmware to 1.60 and the release notes state :
8 beats (REV) and 8 beats (FWD) added in BEAT JUMP mode when used with a DDJ-SP1.
but when I plug in the DDJ-SP1, I can't figure out how to change the Beat Jump value to a higher number.. there are no clear instructions.. and it's not in the settings.
And don't ask me what FIrmware my SP1 is running because there haven't been any updates for the SP1 since 2013

I think it's pathetic how you have to use/buy a DDJ-SP1 in order to use a feature made for the CDJ 2000NXS2.
We can already use 1-beat jump without any other hardware so why not 8-beats?
Seriously? What a joke!
MONOPOLY my friends ,so sad to see this on a brand loved by djs, they can fall off like technics did and I guess they are not realizing this ,denon now is not far from taking over but in order for that to happen they need to drop prices first then people with think before dropping 2,000 on a cdj and convincing them to get a denon maybe for $1,200 a piece , at that price it would probably make me pack my cdj s in it's original box and sell them.
Mark that literally did not do a damn thing. The sampler button won't even light up. fail.
Do your Hot Cues, Rolls and Loops all work the way they are supposed to when using the SP1?
Mark , yes . It's the Slicer option that's letting me beat jump, not the sampler. Just FYI so you can change your little diagram
My mistake, Dan. The graphic I made is incorrect. To enter beat jump mode you must press the Shift and Slicer buttons on your SP1. I will update the graphic. Sorry for the mixup.
