11) Any other notes regarding your setup only: Mac laptop with newest version of Rekordbox. Non pioneer external mixer just for audio (not linked at all with system)
12) Provide as much detail of the issue here:

I have updated all firmware/software and power cycled all components in varying order to see if there was something I was missing. The Player numbers are set to "Auto". If I press the "Link" tab to connect one XDJ to my computer through USB Midi, it connects fine and works properly with Rekordbox in performance mode. Also, if I am using the players with a USB device, I am able to play on both decks seamlessly.

The main issue is that I get the link to work perfect but only on occasions and I can't figure out what triggers those "occasions". I have allowed all pop up programs to pass through my firewall when prompted. I even turned the firewall completely off to experiment. I know my computer recognizes the XDJ's but the LINK tab on the bottom will still not show at all. I even get a message when they are connected saying "Pioneer CDJ.XDJ is connected. Would you like to change the audio device?"

Upon opening Rekordbox I am prompted with a message to allow "PSvLinkSysMgr.app" to accept incoming network connections. However that is the only pop up I receive, even when power cycling or un pluggin the player usb. If I get lucky, there will be more prompts after plugging in the player USB prior to a successful link but it's unpredictable if that will happen or not.

Separately I downloaded the "CDJXDJ_Aggregator_103" but I am unsure if this has anything to do with what I am trying to set up.

I can't figure out why LINK has shown before but not always. It's a gamble every time. I feel like some component might not be recognized or may be blocked somehow regardless if the Firewall is on or not.

Please let me know if anyone has the solution to this issue! I am hoping it is something as simple as a setting.

Thanks!

Have you tried not connecting the USB and ethernet cables at the same time?

Hey thanks for responding! The only ethernet cable used is the cat 5e between the players. Are you suggesting disconnecting the link cable, plugging the usb from one player into the computer, then reconnecting the link?
