DJM-800: Headphones very quiet

hi everyone

i just started using my my cdj350s with my djm800 again after briefly mucking around on my traktor.  since then i can barely get any sound out of my heaphones when cueing using the mixer and 350s.  it's as if plugging the jack and headphones into the traktor for a brief period of time has altered their sound through the djm once plugging them back in to the mixer.

Any suggestions on where I could be going wrong..?  

I'm wondering if there's a connection issue in the headphones insert on the djm800 but i had no problems a week or so ago...
