Guys any advice, my R1 just froze at a live gig last weekend for no apparent reason! Was into my 2nd hour switching from USB to cd and back again all night with no problems then halfway through a song BANG!!!! High pitch noise followed by silence....I turned unit off and back on and was fine for rest of night but now I'm trying to update from Ver. 1.09 but it's just stuck on 'download' ???
I've format the usb, unzip the file but nothing? HELP???

Hi mate, yes unzipped and even formatted the USB so it was clean and nothing else in the root folder :(
How did you format the USB drive? If on a Mac, be sure to change the type to MBR not GUID.
Windows mate?
And you're certain it formatted to FAT32? I know newer versions of Windows try to use exFAT on USB drives.
Yip 100% just double checked there :( Is there anyway I can reset the unit and start from scratch?
Other than not accepting an update, does the unit perform properly? Can it read from other USB drives?
Yes will read 3mps from other usb drives but wont update and tried it with 2 different usb drives which were both formatted to FAT32?
Can you try downloading it again (with a different browser) and tell me the name of the extracted file you've placed on the USB drive (incl. extension)?
