Poor loop effect when using XDJ RX2 as midi controller for Rekordbox

Anyone notice the poor, basically unusable, roll effect while controlling rekordbox with an XDJ RX2, or other controller? The loop effect works perfectly as soon as i switch to the external mixer setting or export mode. Certainly a disappointment.

What, specifically, makes you feel it's unusable?

The loop is never seamless. When creating a 4 beat loop it is actually in 5/4. Other loop lengths are incorrect as well. I have looked for the possibility of it being a quantize setting, but that doesn't seem to be the case. The track is analyzed and the roll effect works as expected while in export mode, or while setting the mixer as external while in performance mode.

Wait, loop or roll? Those are two different functions.

Thanks - that would be a better way to fully illustrate the problem (if there is a problem) to our engineers.
