issue normally happens everytime im scrolling through tracks.
screen will pause, pix elate then reboot with music still playing.
anyone encountered this issue? could it be caused by files or software?
no computer links just USB files...
also notice at times the players will go into emergency loop and the usb would drop out prior.
both errors will show on both decks so i believe it could be a usb issue, but would prefer to hear if anyone has encountered this issue and what they have done to resolve for good. not a good look when your 15 minutes into a 1 hour set.

Have you checked to make sure you're running newest firmware? Are the tracks analyzed in Rekordbox? Can you test the same files that are affected with another USB drive in the same players? Do you have access to another player to test the songs and see what happens?
yup, this happened to me a few years back, would ether pixel up and reboot or scramble up like you see in the video and reboot but the audio and functions were never effected

wound up replacing a board and it fixed this issue, I'm shocked this isnt a more common complaint or recall, I know at least 6 that i have seen this on and thats just in my group of dj friends
firmware is upto date. i will attempt to analyze the files and retest.
the error does appear on both decks so im crossing fingers its not the players themselves. considering they have only had at least 5 hours of play time which would be disappointing if such a superior brand had such a poor quality units.
i will update my results as soon as i encounter them.
***UPDATE***
ran all music through rekordbox and analized them.
tested units for 35 minutes without issue to display or sound much better improvement.
only issue still there is the usb dropping out when selecting random songs. (both decks will enter emergency loop during this and usb will be detecting)
it is a 64GB 3.0 USB. is there any recommended brands or spec to use on the CDJ's?
