DJM-S9 Owners: Booth Output noise floor higher than Master Output noise floor?

To other DJM-S9 Owners:

Could one of you check if your BOOTH output has a higher noise floor (volume w/o music) than your MASTER output?

I bought a new DJM-S9, and I noticed that the noise floor on the booth is 3-5x higher than the very quiet noise floor of everything else I connect to my speakers (including Master out).  I confirmed it has nothing to do with cables, speakers, knob settings, etc.

I don't want to send it in, unless this is abnormal for the hardware design.  Pioneer tech support can't confirm w/o sending it in.  NI wasted my time w/ this in the past with a minor design issue, and I don't want to go w/o the mixer if I don't need to.
