XDJ-RX EQ Issues

Been playing with a new XDJ-RX for a week now, and having graduated from a DDJ-SX, there's one thing that's driving me nuts and making me feel like I'm starting from scratch.

The EQ's on the RX are like ten times more sensitive, specifically the lows. Whereas on the SX you would typically drop the low to 7 o clock and be fine when doing bass swaps or coming in, anything below 8 o clock on the RX kills the entire sound of track, especially the mid. Trying to blend tracks when I have to keep the low frequency between 8 and 9 seems odd, and the difference between 8 and 9 o clock is MASSIVE, especially since it's cutting out half the mid even when the mid is at 12 o clock.

Is there an option for this somewhere to change the sensitivity or is that just the way it is? Switching options between EQ and Isolator in the menu options doesn't seem to do anything.

@Rick > Congrats on the XDJ-RX purchase -- I think there's an easy solution for you.

The SX EQ settings were configured within Serato DJ and chances are you never thought about them / touched them. The XDJ-RX has two ranges, and that's indicated by the -26/-∞ markings beside the knob. It's either a 26dB cut, or a full kill - and chances are yours is set to a full kill.

Press and hold the MENU/UTILITY button and scroll down to EQ CURVE, press the knob, change the setting from ISOLATER (yes, complete with typo), to EQ... and enjoy! :)

Hello, I face the same kind of issue with my XDJ-R1, the EQ for the bass low frequencies is doesn't change the range in the low frequencies first before being at approximately the middle of the lower position and it's sometimes difficult with some hard bass tracks to cut the bass smoothly.

Is there something to setup directly on the utility setup of the XDJ-R1 or has it to be programmed with relotdbox (or playing with a filter or something else)?
Thanks for your support...

Sorry, the crossover frequency for the EQs is not customizable. Have you tried changing the EQ to a full kill vs a -26dB cut?

Thanks for your answer. So, I just have to set ut up in Rekordbox by chosing EQ mode (and not ISO) with a linear curve.

And what about choice between 900 NXS and NXS2 choice ?
