Have you checked your input settings? The record out is reflective of the channels so make sure the channels on the mixer are not peaking.
hello,
Is use the rec to connect the djm to my Zoom Q2N (rca to mini jack).
The volume on my Zoom is almost the minimum and my channel gains are at 0db.
-> the recording on my zoom is always with distortion UNLESS i lower my djm channel gains. (I tried other cable already)
MY question: how can i lower the output of the rec out? I not find it in the DJM utility.
Greats

My channels are never peaking-> my channels are max in 1 yellow bar... So thats around 0db. I never used the rec out before cause i not needed it. But that changed since i recently bought the Zoom.
-> the zoom works fine, because when i connect the master out (RCA) to the zoom, there is no distortion.
You can lower the rec out level via the onboard firmware settings. Look in the manual for instructions how to do it!
