First of all, apologies if this topic has already been covered, did do a quick search but couldn't find anything.
Just set up my XDJ-RX and currently using it in MIDI mode as a controller with a MacBook. My problem is that I can't seem to get the large waveform display on the XDJ-RX. I'm not sure if this is possible on the RX when using as MIDI but if it's possible can someone please let me know.
Also the beat effects display is also blank, beat effect doesn't tell me what channel it's assigned to or what parameter the beat effect is. Again, I'm not sure if this feature doesn't work with MIDI.

Sorry, no large waveforms. The XDJ-RX is / was originally marketed as a stand-alone player, not a controller - that's a secondary function, and rekordbox support was added after many requests.

Little dissapointed with that to be honest, it's marketed as a controller but can't use the full features of the product whilst in controller mode.

Either way, some outlets are listing the XDJ-RX as a controller. Obviously its not down to Pioneer what external suppliers list the product as. Also would be handy if it was noted that some features don't work whilst using it as a controller.
Note: When used as a controller, the XDJ-RX doesn't support 100% of the same features as when it is used as a stand-alone device.
