Yes in a word, some going past 16/1 and some only going to 16/1. Check the 900NXS manual for specific effects and their range, but yes to 8 beats.

Hey there. Really simple question, I'm interested in buying the 900 nexus and would like to know if the beat effects range goes up to 8 beats as it does on the xdj rx I currently have?
