FolgenDJM 900 NXS2 Problem
Hello everyone,
I discovered a mute problem when using the FX FREQUENCY section. Apparently this problem would be found on all DJM 900 NXS2 mixers! I would like to know if users of this mixer could confirm this problem to me.
To find the best sound cut it is better to choose a music with a quiet passage without drums.
Here is the procedure for checking:
- choose a quiet music passage and put it in a loop
- set the LEVEL / DEPTH knob to the min position on the left
- deactivate a frequency in the FX FREQUENCY section regardless of
- with the effect channel selector, select the track on which the music is playing. If the track plays on track 1, put the BEAT FX on track 1
- leave the ON / OFF knob of the effect in the off position (remains lit in blue)
Once these steps are completed, perform the following tests:
- turn the knob LEVEL / DEPTH and return to the starting position, perform it several times to hear the mute sound.
- cut-off also occurs when the LEVEL / DEPTH knob is in the centered position at 12 o'clock and one of the frequencies of the FX FREQUENCY is deactivated. Deactivating one of these three frequencies generates the same cutoff.
- always with the knob LEVEL / DEPTH in the centered position, using the effect channel selector switch from one track to another by returning to the track that is playing. Cutting is also understood with this manipulation.
For information the latest 2.02 update did not solve the problem
Please keep me informed of your findings.
Best regards.
Christophe
PS: Please excuse me for my bad English
