Rebuilding record collection from 90s...

Well I guess this is really a corner case, not sure anyone can relate :)

Long story short, I had a nice collection (500+) of vinyl from the early to mid 90's when I knew my way around a set of 1210s...

Due to the recent breakup of my 16-year relationship those records are going to get sold (not by me!) on eBay tbh...

So if I were, for example, to get back into DJ'ing with a couple of CDJ900's (seems about my budget) and given I have a pretty good memory of my old collection, could anyone let me know the best way to recreate my library (obviously leaving room for new stuff which is going to be much easier I'm sure)...

Is it going to be a case of finding old vinyls and digitising them or is there an easier option?
