Connect DDJ SB2 to KRK speakers

Hi everyone,

I would like to buy a DDJ SB2 controller and because I have no decent speakers, i'd also like to buy some KRK G3 active speakers.

My question is, how do I connect them?

The sb2 only has 1 master output, but which cable(s) do I have to buy to connect them? XLR or RCA??

Hi,

The KRK G3 has an RCA input. You should use this. If you need 2 outputs some day (booth and master), they you should use RCA splitters to split your master output to 2 devices.

How does that work?
Do I need to use a dual RCA cable and plug right in the right speaker and same for left?

I'm sorry, but I don't get it :)

I only have 1 master output (1 left and 1 right).

No worry :)

You need 2 of these Y splitters. You plug each of them on the outputs that is : the first one on the left output and the other one on the right output.

Then you plug your monitors to one leg of the Y splitter and your master (eg PA) on the other leg of the Y.
