Editing tags whilst PC link is activated

I found a similiar thread but there has been no activity on it for a long time and this puzzles me because it is SUCH A BIG DEAL!

I have my PC connected when playing at home and i like to play edit tags/info as i play tunes. Of course i can just listen to the tracks one at a time on my PC and add all the track info then but what is the fun in that! I have spent thousands of dollars on hardware and now i have to play music on my laptop!!!! It is not even possible to use the nice PC headphones pass thru function on the NXS2 because you need to be connected to do so.

I used to use Serato and a controller and although i dont want to compare the 2 - come on, that functionality of 'on the fly' is so superior.

This limitation of PC link is also a bugbear for the Beat grid adjustments. When at home this is the first time am playing my newly purchased music and so it is a natural path to check the beat grid before loading it onto the deck. I know you can do it on the CDJ/XDJ but the interface makes this very difficult.

PDJ-If there is a technical reason why this functionality is not available please let me know what it is. Been a Pioneer diehard ever since selling my Techniques for rent money!
