No Audio from DJM USB out to Mac

I am running the DJM2000NXS2 into a new mac via 2.0 to thunderbolt conversion.  I have sound on the mixer through the headphones.  I have a signal to the mac and the Mac is receiving through its input.  However, there is no crossover of sound on the outputs to any output selected.  I have tried various configurations and tested other apps.  Rekordbox will put sound out.  iTunes will put sound out.  But the input signal from the DJM isn't crossing over and putting out.  Please help!
