DDJ-SR2 Slip & Vinyl Mode

I've just purchased an additional controller (DDJ-SR2) as I do many outdoor events and my controllers don't last that long as they are exposed to the salt water in in Bermuda.

The DDJ-SR2 has a button that when pressed with a one touch goes into slip mode.  The vinyl mode has to be activated by pressing shift.  The shift is on the other side of the platter which means you have to use both hands to activate it.  I'd prefer to have the vinyl mode on a one touch button.  Is there any to reverse the selection process of the slip/vinyl mode or can I midi map the vinyl mode activation to another button?

Thank you.

Have you tried to Midi Map the button to respond without using the shift?

I've tried to midi map it from the Serato software and it doesn't recognize the function when I'm pushing the shift button.  I'm wondering if there's a way to use a keyboard shortcut.  I looked at the shortcuts from the list in Serato but did not see a vinyl mode shortcut.  Are there any midi program apps that would help me to activate or deactivate the vinyl mode with a one touch button?
