DDJ 200 not turning on

My DDJ 200 is in brand new condition, it was just sitting for a while on my dresser not being used. Today I decided to pull it out and plug it in to use it. Sadly, when I plugged it into both my Macbook and the regular USB plug with the outlet, it never turned on!!!! Usually the buttons will light up when it turns on but nothing happened. Like I said this DDJ 200 is barley used, it just has been sitting for a while gathering some dust. Please help me figure out how to get this to turn on. It is in brand new condition so it should be working just fine.
