DJM900Nexus Recording Issues

Okay so I'm testing out a DJM900 at the moment as a substitute to my Xone DB4 and I've just tried to record a mix into Logic. I have the sound card going rec out in 1/2 into Logic and audio is coming through no problems however I keep getting an error message in Logic saying recording failure due to processing or something similar on my iMac.

any ideas ?

For info I never had any CPU or recording issues with the DB4 mixer.

windows or mac? and to be clear are you using usb?

Paul, can I just ask what you think in quality in general sound and sound sound effects quality compared to your db4.

Not as good no way, mids and highs are okay but the low end is more muddy. The eq's don't work as well BUT the DJM900 works in my set up better using the RMX1000. The DB4 effects engine is phenomenal but complex, the delays are incredible but for more dramatic effects you need to work harder whereas the DJM900 takes a lot of the work away I love the xpad on the 900. Both great mixers IMO
