Hi guys, i've ask and asked about and it would seem this has only happened to us....
Ok we're at a festival where we were supplying four CDJ2000 and a DJM900, simple right..... On the 2nd night a DJ runs over to the camp saying ''there is a loud sound coming out of the sound system''
So we pop over and sure enough a loud very high pitched sound (about 4kHz) was coming the PA system. We unpluged EVERYTHING apart from the mixer (so just two XLR's coming out and going into our desk) and still this noise !
We turned the mixer off, left it for 10 sec turned it back on and it was fine...... until about 7 hours later when it did it again.
So we changed the mixer and once back sent it off, come back 2 days later with a note ''nothing wrong with this'' so again we take it out and guess what...... yep it happens again !
Please could some explain and at least say they have or have heard about this problem

@Tim > Sorry to hear you are having issues. Seems like an unusual issue - can't say I've ever heard of this before.
Just out of curiosity, were you running off a generator at the festival? If so, were you using a power conditioner etc?
Did you notice the mixer get hot at any stage?
