[CLOSED] I Know This Is A Pioneer Forum...But Lets Talk Allen & Heath Mixers

Ok so I'm soon going to be buying a new Mixer after finally buying 2xCDJ2000NXS to be honest the DJM2000 & DJM900 are a little out of my price range so was really looking into the DJM850 but recently have been swaying towards the Allen & Heath range of Mixers has ive been told they are better quality then Pioneer mixers and more suited for my style of music HardDance, Trance, House, HardStyle ect..

Can anybody shed some light on the Situation i know Rane mixers blow both Pioneer and Allen & Heath out of the water particularly the ''Rane Sixty Eight'' but there ugly layout and step prices are a big put off for me even tho ive heard their built like a tank.

So if you had say around £1300 to spare would you go for the Pioneer DJM850 or Allen & Heath Xone:92. Which really has better quality, Is one really better suited for Dance Music, Which would go better with the Nexus's, Effects ect..

Cheers.

Not sure where the info came from, but Rane mixers do not blow away Pioneer and especially do not blow away A&H mixers. A&H are some of the best sounding mixers on the market.

The Rane 68 is a disaster, a lot of people who bought them hated them, horrible layout, too confusing and buttons breaking a lot. I am not saying Rane is bad, they make awesome mixers, The MP24 was flagship for clubs and mobile for a long time but the Pioneers in my opinion just offer more on their mixers effects wise and the sound quality is the same, if not better.

A&H DB4 is one of my favorite mixers but too much for me to spend, Any of the cheaper A&H I cannot get a happy combo with being I love rotary and effects

so as far as the last question, i personally think the Xone92 will sound better but will you notice the difference between that and an 850? I doubt it

If you are into effects, the xone92 does not have any except for a filter, so the DJM850 wins in the effects area

just save up a bit more as you have gone as far as getting nexus decks then get a nexus mixer to go with it,

you wont regret it, they go hand in hand.

im not sure what answers you think your going to get asking pio heads about A&H. pio will always win.
