[SOLVED] DJM-2000 wireless setup
I am trying to setup 2 cdj-2000 and a djm-2000 with a wirless router to use rekordbox on my iPhone. However I don't get it to work. Within the router I disabled any firewall settings or filters. The wlan is visible to the phone but I can't connect. If I connect a PC instead of the wireless router to the djm it works fine... Imtried several wireless routers (and settings) but - no luck? Whatncould be the reason? Unfortunately there is not much guidance in the manual regarind network setup. Does any device use or should use DHCP? Which network addresses are to be used.??? Is there any help? Thanks Thomas

It's 2 CDJ2000 nexus and a DJM2000 - no nexus but firmware 3.19

Also - the problem appears to me as this is a network problem. The iPhone is not able to aquire a network address from the wireless router after the router is connected to the DJM. If I switch DHCP to on in router, the iPhone does get a connection, but then there is no connection to the DJM any more which sounds logical to me since both devices now operate in different network zones. To m opinion the DJM must have a DHCP server function and all connected devices should get there address from the DJM. And this is what obviously doesn't work if the router is connected. It does work however, if a PC is connected, because the PC is able to connect to the DJM - and aquire a network address. Does that sound logical?

Not all routers works well with iPhone, I used a Apple Airport Express 2nd Generation and it worked fine.
I created a separate network without Internet connection just to work with my DJM-2000, MBP and iPhone.
See attached picture for my setup.

This looks easy. Which device has the DHCP server function? The MBP?

Thanks all for he advice.
Firstly, I got myself an Apple airport
Secondly, I recognized that the router (in this case the airport) must be set up and running AND connected to the DJM2000 prior to switching on the power of the DJM. With this - it works!
