I would like to know if used with the cdj 2000 nexus? Will the nexus players show the wave form still? Cause in the video you can see the wave form on the player. Or we will just use them in HID mode?
Very excited for this! some questions. will the sound card be opened to be used with other programs? Is there an MSRP on the new mixer? How long till i can order one in Canada?

Checking right now.
thanks jay.. glad your back
Right now no, but will add to Serato DJ suggestions.
Any particular reason you had to make a new mixer for this rather than enhancing the current 900 with a firmware update! thanks pioneer.........
The 900NXS is a Traktor certified mixer, so that is one hurdle. The other issue is that Serato DJ was introduced back in November as a controller based software, and now Serato has expanded it to be time code controlled as well. This is the first time I can remember a software going from solely control based to time code AND control based. It presents new challenges that had to be addressed and configured. The beauty is that it allows a new user base to enjoy the 900 with either version.
and you could have done that with the current 900 and firmware and let the current userbase have a choice as well :-(
@ beyond, there's hardware differences that had to be made to gain certification which is probably why there's no simple fix via firmware...
i see only one usb port. would you be able to switch from laptop to laptop when the next person goes on?
If you want to be able to go back and forth with Traktor and Serato, couldn't you just use the Soundcards in a CDJ-2000Nexus for Traktor and use the 900SRT for Serato?
Is there going to be any way for the beat grid/BPM info in serato to be transmitted to the 900NXS via midi over usb? I know in the past the answer was no but will this be fixed not that there is the new mixer? The auto BPM kinda sucks and I'm in agreement with beyond here, especially if current user base can't get any of the benefits.
I just want to have some clarification. The advantage with the 900 SRT it is a plug and play you do not need a sl box.
But for the midi options , you have to map the 900 srt, it is like the djm 850 you have to map the mixer ?

@Jean-Noel > The SL box is built in to the 900SRT.
