[SOLVED] Pioneer DJM 900SRT with Traktor audio 10 unit

Hi there. I would like to purchase the Pioneer DJM 900SRT. Firstly, will the mixer work with the Traktor pro software straight without any audio interface connected to it?

Secondly, if I would like to use the Traktor scratch pro version, is there a possibility that the mixer can work with the Traktor audio 10 added to the system? Please help as I'm comtemplating either to get the DJM 900nexus or the 900SRT. I'm more or a Traktor user and have never used Serato before and would like to have the flexibility to use both system. Thanks and all help is appreciated.

I Used the DJM 900 SRT. FYI to all, you CAN use it with Traktor just like the DJM 900 Nexus. Plug and Play for the most part.

Hi mate. So basically it can still control Traktor pro right? I was told that it would not work with Traktor scratch pro. Do you connect Traktor to your CDJ through HID or the normal way and control traktor using the 900SRT?

Yes, I have the 900 nexus and the club had the SRT. All I did at home was install the drivers for the 900SRT and once in the club, I setup my sound card in traktor to be the 900 srt.

Everything else was the same.

cool @walter_white, so owning the 900 nexus you can not install srt driver to play serato straight connect? Only the 900 srt allows straight connect for both traktor and serato if drivers are download?

I am not sure what you mean. The best way I can explain is what I thought of before going to the gig.....

I have a 900NXS so I have my drivers installed. Found out the club had the 900SRT so keeping in mind it is a different hardware, I also installed the SRT drivers as well to avoid any issues. If you will be playing with both, install the SRT driver on your computer as it won't hurt you to have it installed.

You can certainly install both the NXS and the SRT drivers on your computer; they are two different hardware.

And no, you can NOT play serato with the NXS without the serato box, the 900SRT has that box built in it, that's what's so special about it. Being able to use Serato with the 900SRT has nothing to do with drivers, its hardware in the mixer that lets you do that.

So the 900 SRT works both DVS systems? I have heard people say that it works with traktor, but not for dvs.

it is designed for serato. It also works with Traktor. I would guess that any software that just requires a sound card, then yes it would work.

are you shure that the srt works out of the box with Traktor PRO ? means with dvs like the 900nxs?

I only testet with the known Traktor hack and this worked, never tested the srt without this hack, but would be great!
