Recording Voice + Effect DJM900

Hi Guys,

I would like to know how can I record my voice using my headphones as a mic into the DJM900 and then applying effects a lá Zabiela :)

Basically, when I try to emulate the voice recording part, I am able to plug my headphones into the mic jack, and it works like a mic, however how can i send the signal to a channel or even to the master in order to apply an effect either with the mixer itself or with the RMX-1000?

you simply use the ROLL effect to record your Mic sound.

I am sorry but I might be doing something wrong.

I simply connect my headphones into the mic jack entrance, change the settings so I have mic on and volume (see photo attached). Then I press the roll effect and set it to be on the master. Then I spoke via my headphones but nothing is record. I cannot sample my voice and then apply effect.

I even try to use the roll option in the rmx1000 and nothing.

Please help, am I doing something wrong?
