The problem is you've connected line level devices into a phono pre-amp input designed only for turntables, not CDJs. Please use the left connector marked "CD" and you'll no longer have any distortion issues.
Hey every one, I recently purchased a Djm t1 and a cdj 2000. I bought them used. I have these connect with 3 RCA cables (L+R+V) . I plugged it the red and white from Cdj 2000 to the phono of the DJm t1. I hear the sound but it's extremely distorted on the headphones. I tried different headphones and it sound horrible. I can hardly recognize the song that is playing and it just sounds like noise. On the Djm t1 mixer the channel where the song is playing is just at Red color. I don't know what is the problem here. Can someone please help. I've added pictures on how everything is setup.
