Unable to use scratch function with DJM T1 after recent upgrade

OK, so I have been using Traktor scratch pro and the DJM T1 or 3 years on my current system without a problem, but after recently upgrading to Yosemite the scratch function no longer works. I have tried to use this with an older mac and a previous version of TSP, but this still will not recognise timecode vinyl- the platter sremain 'greyed out'. I'm beginning to think the problem lies with the mixer itself- is there any way of checking this?

System- Mac OS 10.10 and DJM T1 with updated firmware (ver 3.0) software TSP 2.7 (and also 2.2 on older mac running 10.7). All setting files have been updated and the DJM utility set and reset to timecode vinyl...i'm at a complete loss??
