The Mavericks compatibility page was just updated and shows that the DJM-900NXS has been verified. Perhaps try reinstalling the device manager?
Hello,
OSX 10.10.1 user here, on a late 2011 MBPro. DJM900 Nexus firmware: 1.31, driver: 1.3.0
No way to have the device recognized by my Mac, it won't even appear in the system report. Until Mavericks it worked correctly, what can i do to fix the problem? Will a new firmware or driver be released?
thanks

I tried already using this installer: DJM-900nexus_M_1.3.0_GK.dmg, the version displayed is 1.3.0, copyright 2011. Uninstalled, rebooted, installed again and rebooted, nothing changes, still can't see the unit: "Not connected".
Does the LED above the USB port on the mixer illuminate?
Is the mixer shown in the MIDI devices panel of the Audio MIDI Setup application (under utilities)?
The LED remains off, I tried with different USB cables on both USB ports on my Mac. The device doesn't appear even in the system peripherals list.
Without the LED illuminating, I wouldn't expect it to show in the device list. I've opened a ticket with the engineers to see if there is some other reason it might not be connecting.
Do you have the ability to check the mixer with another computer? Engineers are unable to replicate the issue.
