DJM-5000 Not working on OSX 10.10

I have a 2014 Macbook Pro 13" Retina. Since the latest update my DJM-5000 is no longer working. In the " Support for OS X Yosemite v10.10" I read please use the latest driver, but I have installed the 1.2.0-driver.

What I've also noticed:

• If I use the DJM-driver uninstall function the uninstaller causes a freeze of the laptop after displaying the message to reboot. Perhaps not fully uninstalled?

• If I then reinstall, I can't find any sign the driver is actually installed: no pioneer control app, no DJM in the sound devices.

How do I fix this?
