wouldn't hurt to get a small UPS battery backup to regulate the power. i have one installed in my DJ case after a brown out in a catering hall f'd my mixer up

Best practices for using DJM-3000 on generator power?
What are the best practices for using a DJM-3000 mixing board on generator power? Should I use some type of voltage regulator in-line between the generator and the 3000? Thanks.

Not just a UPS, but one which features AVR - automatic voltage regulation, as there are back-up batteries without it. The voltage regulation is the essential part.
