DJM 250 rec output dilemma

I have a DJM 250 with two Xtrm turntables. Currently I am forced to rout my master RCA outputs to my yamaha amp, to the KEF monitors.

What is the most reasonable option in my case?

1) (current solution) Use the headphone output in my amp to rout to my laptop (16bit 48000 Hz) => A shop assistant said this was a bad idea. I also need to lower the Amp volume so that I don't go higher than 0db on my laptop.. 

2) Use the XLR outputs to connect with an XLR audio interface. => Need to buy one that is preferably 24bit

3) Somehow connect the XLR stereo outputs directly to my laptop.

4) Any alternative solution that is way too expensive..
