I am running mac 10.6.8 on my macbook with 4GB memory and 80 GB hard drive and Intel Core Duo 2 Ghz and after adding about 900 files (mp3 most from Beatport) after it is done preparing the songs it crashes out Rekordbox. The exact second that it adds the files to the database(when preparing window disappears it crashes). I have tryed restoring the database from the library folder but both files are corrupted. I did backup before I added the files, but this happens with adding songs on the internal 80gb hard drive and also a portable harddrive. the only way to have Rekordbox open is to move the files from the original directory. I also have a similar thread underneath 1.5 feedback...Please help never had this problem until 1.5

@ShaunieMac > Could you try importing smaller batches of files (say 100 at a time) and see if it crashes on a specific import or in general? We're trying to determine if it's a database problem or a problematic file.
