REKORDBOX 2.02 - Files that have no extension will not be imported

using rekordbox 2.02 for the first time since updating. decided to delete my rekordbox collection and re-import so i have a clean database . when i go to import files from itunes bridge it says "files no extension will not be imported" , i then go to import and about 50 of 9000 do not import. what is the reason for this and how do i identify which files have not imported? many thanks

@andy > Do these same files play in iTunes? A file needs to have an extension or else the software has no idea what to do with it.

just updated all id3 tags within itunes using itunes to update to 2.4 id3 tags. reimported to rekordbox and now sees ALL files. sounds like an id3 tag issue rather than extension. Problem solved

@andycalder can you explain how exactly you did that? i am having the same error and have no clue what to do in order to import them in rekordbox.

select all files in iTunes and right click and a option comes up to convert id3 tags.
