Transfer tracks from USB to Rekordbox with cue points?

A few months ago I had my laptop stolen, meaning I lost my Rekordbox collection. I still, however, have the usb sticks i use in my CDJ-900s meaning I have all my tracks still saved and cued, but now I have a new laptop and a new but empty Rekordbox collection. I have tried to add the tracks to Rekordbox but they don't have any of the cue points saved. I was wondering if there is a way of transferring, not only the tracks, but the cue points as well because I have over 3000 tracks cued and don't want to have to go through each one again, as it was done over a period of months. Any help would much appreciated.

Sorry, it's not possible to recover the cue points or grid data from an export device back into a library if the main entries are missing form the library, as it is no longer able to synchronize to the main entries in the database.

The only recovery options would be a backup (like TimeMachine) or a backup created from within rekordbox.

unfortunately there is no way to go backwards, RB can only export to a USB drive, Not import

You can get all the tracks obviously back from the USB to your computer and rebuild, at least you didn't lose the music

Yeh, I thought this would be the case. Do you know if I can export new tracks onto the USBs without losing the old ones, in effect just add to whats there without having to sync it to my new Rekordbox? Thanks for the reply.

thats a good question actually. I am sure you can right click and export each new playlist, now sure how the SYNCing feature would work though as you set that up. it may remove old playlists

So it works just exporting new playlists, not ideal but a sight better than re-cueing everything. Thanks for the help.

With your device mounted and Rekordbox open & In Sync Manager isn't it possible to tell Rekordbox to transfer all Cue, Grid Info back to Rekordbox?

@Tarek > It's not designed to copy back into a computer - it's an export device.

I have question regarding this which I am really hoping is possible, I have created a set in Rekordbox of about 25 tracks and then exported to a USB/SD, I have then used my CDJ's to add the hotques and markers where I would like as I build the set, does it work in the way that if I now plug the USB/SD back into my MAC that I can tell Rekordbox to update all of the Hotques and markers back into the library, so then the USB and Rekordbox on the MAC look the same without me losing the markers and hotques, is this done as you describe by right clicking on the USB/SD in Rekorbox and updating the collection, I am nervous about doing it as I dont want to lose all of the markers....really hope you can confirm...

Yep - right click on the device on the left and select "Update collection" and it will import any changes you made to those tracks on the decks.

This does not work. My device appears as no mounted and gray out in Disk utility. And does not even display in Rekordbox. Am I missing something?
