@Kalen > The knobs are similar to that on other Pioneer products in that you can pull them off (I just did it to test) but I don't recommend it. They certainly sit a lot tighter than the knobs on other products and you could easily snap the support column underneath that holds the knob in place and delivers control.

Folgencan i remove and replace the faders and knobs off the ddj ergo?
i was just wondering if i could replace the knobs and faders of the ergo? on my last controller i got the super knobs from djtechtools.com and modified them to my vestax vci-100.
they feel great and are probably the best knobs/faders ive ever had. they feel great in the hand.
the ergo is okay but im looking for the extra stick and want to put them on. just wondering do they come off easily or are they even made to come off?
i don't want to break any of the faders....thanks!!

im so tempted to try but yeah i def don't want to break my ergo. are the button sizes on the ergo the same as the ddj-t1 or ddm-400,ddjm-2000? on the knobs/faders site they are not compatible so it would render my knobs unusable though they look similar in size from just looking at them

I just tried to pull the knobs off the Ergo and it ain't happenin'. They're locked tight! The fader caps are P-LOCK, which means they're sandwiched rather than a push-down-on-the-post style, so replacement fader caps wouldnt' work (and if they did, they wouldn't hold as well as the P-LOCK type do anyhow!)
Try this.
