Does your USB cable go directly from your ERGO into your computer, or does it pass through a hub by any chance?
When you have everything hooked up on your Mac, you're able to mix and use the jog wheels, tempo faders, and EQ knobs, bu it's just the samples and effects that don't work correct?
Have you tested to see if the effects or samples work by using your mouse to control them when the ERGO is connected?
It might be good to double check if there is another VDJ update as there was an update available, but it was still listed as the same version from before, so it might be good to try that.
You could also check the mappings for the ERGO in the VDJ preferences and see if there is a mapping for the Samples and Effects to work with the ERGO.
